Hey all,
I have some devices we're fabricating that use Micrologix 1500 LRP Series B Processors. The Batt LO light was on on one of them, so we popped the battery out of the other to replace it to see if that was the problem with it not communicating (separate problem I know imagine). This isn't the battery that plugs in the front. It's the one that's soldered to the board. We CAN resolder it, but would rather not if possible. Is it possible to just plug in that extra battery with the three-pin cable and run the PLC just fine, or are we going to have a problem with the more permanent battery gone? I realize this is for battery change out purposes, but if power is supposed to be on to make that change, does it really matter?
Thanks,
Tony
