Omron CP1E simple On Off cycle timer

Hello all,

I am brand new to this stuff and have no clue what to do. I was asked to write a program to run a pulse signal and solenoids on an on off timer that would cycle automatically. I have no clue how to get the off timer or anything to work. As you can tell I am not a programmer by trade. Any help would be AWESOME!

The task you have been given is designed for you to gain an understanding of programing.
I assume you know how to do this with hard wire relay logic.
Please sketch this and post a copy
we will help you along

I might add that by using the JIS it is a lot easier than you think

Thanks for the welcome. Actually electronics in general are not my arena. I am a water specialist. Meaning I test water. But any how this is supposed to be a simple test. The solenoids open and close for set amount of time. ie. Water flows for 15 minutes... stops for 20 secs. and repeats. The pulse is supposed to run for 10 seconds while the solenoid is closed. (sending signal to the power supply that water is running) During which the onboard preprogrammed computer will reverse polarity on the electrolysis cell. For de scaling purposes. Does that help any?

Can you give me an I/O List
(wired connections to the PLC)

nothing is wired as of yet tother than the NV3W touch panel at Output 00/com. Wiring for everything else will be done according to programming. Thanks again.

Correction ... the output is all open. It was to a hidden power outlet that will be removed once the program and setup is ready for the test I need to do. Sorry.

Never remove that power outlet - just size the CB between 2~4 amps
- the I/O list can be prepared before you wire the PLC
ask yourself "where do I connect this button or that solenoid?"
you need the hardwire drawing first.
I can not help without a bit more knowledge
