Hey fellas,
I had been having trouble with EEProms, So I decided to go from a slc500 5/01 to a 5/03 with a flash card incorporated. When I dumped the program into it, it made some changes for the additional memory and everything seemed fine. However, there is a 'one shot' sending an output to a red lion counter that doesnt count anymore. Im guessing I cant see the output turn on, being that its only active for one scan, but is it possible the new cpu scans faster and the counter no longer picks up the pulse? Or is it happenstance and the counter is faulty? Can you normally see OSRs work on rslogix? Thanks in advance my brothers..

Your scan time may be shorter now so that the output from a one shot is ON for a shorter time. Is the time between pulses short enough that the one-shot can start a short timer? Parallel the one-shot contact with the TT contact of the timer. Also have the TT contact turn on the output thus 'streching' your one-shot.

If you aren't sure if the one-shot is even happening run it into a counter. Watch the accumulated count.
