Set a TIME in S7

Hello again experts,

I am making a program in Simatic Manager integrated with WinCC flex. So here's my question: How can I set Time to the S_PULSE ? for example I have a text list :
1.) 1 Minute
2.) 2 Minutes
3.) 3 Minutes

When I select 1 Minute, S_PULSE will start counting 1 Minute.

Please help.

Don't use the S5 timers, the IEC timer SFB3 - TP is what you need then you can programm the pulse time in milliseconds.

If milliseconds is a bit too fine for the operator to input, then you can do scaling in the tag. For example scaling PLC=1000/HMI=1 gives you input in seconds instead of milliseconds.

I don't have any idea where could I find IEC Timer.

The IEC timers are SFB3, SFB4 and SFB5. You find them in the Standard Library under System Function Blocks.
