Hi,

I need to try and calculate an update rate for an RS485 network but I am not quite sure where to start.

I assume I would need to take into account the following:

baud rate
size of data being sent
Update rate of client
update rate of receiver

Does anybody have an experience of doing this?

Many thanks,
