I am confused by the description a bit on this module. Should I be using a PNP output on the PLC or NPN to activate the inhibit?

If using Pin 9 then NPN but why do you want to inhibit it? I use the same module here where I have a lot of contactors with electronic coils and I never inhibit them and never had issue.

The module capacitor is rated for continious duty.

It was requested by the customer. I have used this module prior but never required an inhibit.
