Can I message a micro800 over Ethernet from a compact Logix L35E??

If the Micro family controller has an EtherNet/IP port (the Micro 820 and Micro 850 do) and supports CIP Data Table Messaging, then yes.

In general, a Micro 850 or 820 with version 4 or later firmware can accept such a message.

There is a nice tidy example in RA Knowledgebase Document ID #520228 (Access Level: Everyone).
