PLC-5/15 Battery Question

Just a short one, can't seem to find a simple yes / no answer:

If the battery goes dead in a PLC-5/15, does the processor dump it's application code?

The manual says,
Retains the processor memory and the
memory in an optional CMOS RAM module
if the processor is not powered

So I guess for the question 'does it dump its application code' the answer should be 'No'

Thanks Chavak, but that's kind of what's confusing me. The way I read that, if the battery dies it takes processor memory with it, ergo, program is wiped out.

They offer a non-volatile module, and a battery backed module. Seems we have the battery-backed module.

If the battery is dead and you power off the PLC, you will loose the program. If its powered up, you can change the battery without losing the program.

Thanks, that was indeed it. We reloaded the program and told them not to shut it down again until we get the new battery.
