Hello!

I recently came across a Twido TWDLMDA40DTK and want to connect to it.. what cable and software do I need?

twidosuite or twisoft, cable is schneider tsx pcx 1031 (serial) or for USB TSXCUSB485 and cable TSXCRJMD25.

Do you have original plc program. Without it you don't get any symbols or network comments from PLC, they are only saved to offline project.

(Instead of cable serial rs232/485 converter with minidin8 cable with pins 1 and 2 should also work?)

It is up to you. Old serial cable works with win7 32 and 64bit windows if you have real serial port on computer. Both cables supports same plcs.

Anyway, old twidosoft version needed com port to be below 8, if you use usb cable, you only need to configure usb to use some com port from 2-8 at device manager. (If you have lot of bluethoot drivers installed at computer, it can be little bit tricky).

With newer twidosuite there is not maybe this issue?

Today I tried to connect to my twido plc but did not work.. whatever I did Twidosuite told me I couldnt connect. I found that my tsxcusb485 isnt installed, I found a driver on internet but after installing it I couldnt change the com port in device manager ( there was no such setting to change it ) is it wrong driver? Anyone have a link to the correct driver? My OS is Win 8!
