I need the program to execute certain operations at certain times of the day. However, I just discovered my Micro850 does not have a built in RTC. I have a panelview 800, I was wondering if I could use the time from that, and port it to the PLC. I am using workbench. Does anyone know if this is possible? If so how would I proceed on doing this?

Does anyone have an other solutions?

Thanks!

I tried using a numberic data entry, added $SysClockHour as the read tag, and then another tag to share between the PLC and HMI panelview, but all I see is 0 on the PLC, but 10 (10am) on the HMI screen.

I also tried setting the destination tag for the system variable to the one shared with HMI/PLC. It still didn't do anything.
