Can The AB 9300-USBS Adapter be used with...

Just Installed an AB 9300 USB adapter on a Win7 (32bit) laptop and all is working fine to SLC and MicroLogix PLCs.
Since we have some Mitsubishi PLCs (an A series and 2 FX-2n) I wondered if anyone had tried this adapter on Mitsubishi PLCs via GX Developer.
Is it compatible did, it work OK?

There is nothing special about the 9300-USB adapter. It is a standard USB to RS232 adapter. If your other branded PLCs use standard RS232 communications, it should work.

The only exceptions are devices like the old AB PIC boxes where a real physical serial port is required.

No they are (most of them) are 422... but if they have a serial cable (SC09) then yes it should work

OK.
It looks like the only way to find out is to try it.
Ill give it a try tonight at work.
