Hi Experts,

I'm new to the S7-200 PLC program. I need to convert the S7-200 program to S7-1200 PLC.

What is the conversion for SMB28 and SMB29? Please have a look at the image I provided in my attachment file.

S71200 doesnt have built in potentiometers like an S7200

But you could use this...

Then scale your values and send out to your changed equivalent address 472 etc.....

I am amazed that Siemens has thought of this.
And I am amazed that JRW knew about that potentiometer module.

As an alternative to the potentiometer module, would it not be more 'modern' to program a couple of input fields on the HMI for the same purpose ? Assuming that there is an HMI.
