Hi,

Does anybody use a KEP HMI? What is the feedback from the field? Is this reliable?

In fact, I can't figure why their price is so low, compared to other HMI brands.
I saw their 7" MMI screen, it seems to be usable in terms of speed, or fonctionnalities. The software is may be not as powerful as some other brand, but it looks to be enough for me.

Is their electronics quality good enough for industrial applications?

Thank you for your help!

Thomas

KEP HMI'S are manufactured by Weintek Labs. Maple Systems is the larger seller of Weintek. KEP is in the US anyway $10.00 cheaper than Maple and the programming software is free. $75.00 from Maple. Do not know how good KEP support is. Maple is very good, so you may get what you pay for.

Reliability is excellent. My first choice.
Support from Maple and KEP are both good. Brian.kep.com is the place to go for FAQ documents. The site appears to be down right now (12 Jan 2011).
You'll get a better price from Eternity Sales (also a poster on this site).
