Can the communications parameters in the RSLogix 500 project
files be configured to be 'off/ignored', so that opening a
project on a laptop whose comm configuration is different
does NOT result in the dreaded "Project Files Do Not Match"
message?
This is a bit of a pain, ever since V6.0 (I think), and
it seems like there ought to be a way to disable this message.
Note: The assumption is that both laptops are connecting the
same way (serial, ethernet, etc.) but the project file
is not finding the exact communications path to the processor,
because the laptops have different names, and the comm.
topics might have different names.
