FactoryTalk View Parameter File Usage

Hey All,

I am running into the same thing. Wondering if a solution was ever found other than changing tag names? I have a parameter number #1 for example immediately followed by another digit (non-character) and it won't work.

From memory, you can just put the .open etc at the io assignment, with the #1..
So if tag = TAG1026 of type motor, make the parameter file ‘#1=TAG1026’

Then where the tag attributes are required, #1.Auto, #1.Run etc

This is from memory, exact syntax might be slightly different
