Im trying to swap out a micrologix 1000 to a 1200 but it wont me download the the program its giving me this Error:Bit is not writeable. The rung has a (L) output and it is adrressed to S:2/8

I just created a ml1200 file.
you cannot write to this address, it is a status bit.

you can write to this bit in the ml1000.

different processors has different restrictions and the bits may be different.
