1203-USB Converter on Windows 7 64bit

Has anyone had experience running a 1203-USB Converter from Allen-Bradley on Windows 7 64 bit? I'm able to install the drivers on XP Pro 32 bit without issues but not Windows 7 x64.


Solved, I found that the drivers on the disk are not up to date. Found the new drivers here:

I know there are a host of compatability issues with Windows-7
and Rockwell software. It is recommended to run it in a VMware
image with an XP operating system sp3. I have all my software installed
and running in XP compatibility mode with Windows-7 and seems ok so far. I have not tried my USB to comm cable yet.

Thanks for the response. I have VMware 9 that i run for Crimson 3 emulator and a couple more emulator as they are not supported with x64, but the issue with that is my laptop only has USB 3.0 and its almost impossible to attach any USB components without disable 3.0 in the bios.
