The Advantage units will be slave units. They can be addressed 1-99.
The Maple display will be connected on a rs-232 port.
Steve you were correct that I would not find a factory board to use for communication.
I have found a communication board to fit the A/B unit that has a RS-232 port and a RS-485. A/B refered me to Prosoft to get this board.
I hope it will not be too hard to get to work for me.
as I had mentioned eariler I have not had much experiance with communication projects.
