hi may i know if teh following item could be classified as teh inverter for control my IM in my project, (to start, stop, and brake the 3phase IM)
this item i found over in the rs catalogue
name: INDUStrial ELECTRIC AC motor SPEED CONTROLLER(inverter)
1phase input/ 3phase output 601 series
an advanced range of inverter wif many freatures build in as standard including RFI filter and programming/operator controls
because i havent got any experience of standard-computer-casing size invwerter, may i know if it is possible still, to use the ge fanuc PLC in my lab for controlling this inverter? because this inverter, (which i think is most related to my project) as it is for 1phase inoput/3phase output to a 3phase IM.
usually, the programming is done from the PLC into teh inverter i presume.
1 last thing, is that, what i discoverred from the specification of the iverter is that, it already got start/.stop braking fuctions build, in. do i still program in ladder?
