ABB Aquamaster Modbus

Anybody out there with experience on modbus with the ABB Aquamaster 3 Flow meter? I need to connect but seem to hit walls all the time.
I am using CAS modbus scanner, poll the device but only get error messages.
Interesting to note is that the error message comes back from address 0, while the device is address 2.
If I change the address or comms settings, I get "timeout". If I scan for devices, it does pick up address 2, also with errors.
Some help please!!!

I've had some issues with the ABB PumpMaster drives and their Modbus comms.
I would suggest getting a Modbus master program, Modscan32 or something like it, and verify it is actually talk to your plc.

Thanks for the advice. I actually got it running, had issues with an RS 232 to 485 converter
