Has anyone had any experience with these drives?
http://www.aerotech.com/products/controllers/Soloist/soloistcp.cfm

I have two applications:

1. Single Axis repeated indexing move started from a discrete signal from a SLC5/04.

2. Flying Shear application started from a micrologix 1400.

I came across these drives that claim allen bradley interface EthernetI/P so I was thinking about using a a 1761 NET ENI to interface the SLC to the drive for passing count setpoint etc in application 1, and Ethernet through a switch to interface the Micrologix for application #2.
