Alspa 80-75...GE Fanuc Series 90-70 doc/info

Hi everybody greetings from Germany,

i am looking for some informations about GE Plc´s. We have a vessel equiped with a Network of such PLC´s. I have no documetation about, never saw such pls´s before all i have is the Hardware and an old Laptop wich running Alspa 80-75 programming Software Version 7.02 direct Serial com. Also from that Software i have no Manual. The System Layout is:

PSU 697 PWR 713
CPU 697 CPU 781
FIP Bus Controller BEM 741
Digital I/P MDL 653
Sparc 5 TE Sbus front Panel

2 of that stations are connected to 6 outstations with

ic 693 pwr 330
ic 693 cpu 351
ic 693 bem 340
ic 693 mdl 655
ic 693 mdl 752
ic 693 alg 220
he 693 dac 410
ic 693 chs 391

what i want is ...understanding the card´s function, understand how the plc´s communicate...read out the programms to find out how they work. i have experience with siemens plc´s type s5 and s7 used allmost function block or awl.

is there any site where i can get Manuals of the hard and Software maybe programming guide and or operaion table ?

Also be aware that GE no longer owns the 90-70 product line it is now controlled by CIMTEC

You should be able to communicate to the GE Fanuc branded PLCs using Proficy Machine Edition Software from GE Automation & Control:

The manuals can be downloaded from the GE support web site, same link as above but under Technical Documentation. from there search for the hardware part number you need.

I thought the alspa C90-70 was a re- branded GE 90-70 by cegelec

FIP is for Factory Information Protocol

I think that the remote stations are C90-30's which is the GE 90-30 series
