Change port number in GX works 3

I have a FX5UJ-40M that I am struggling to change the port number.

I open up the ethernet configuration program, add the 'SLMP' device and add my port number there.
I then click on 'Close with reflecting the setting' and write the program to the PLC.
However, when I open the ethernet configuration program back up and press 'Detect now', the device disappears.

I have the latest version of GX woks 3.
Has anybody else came across this issue?
