CM1243-5 Comunication to Field IO

I am new to Siemens and am working on a project. I need to communicate between a S7-1214 CPU with a CM-1243-5 (Profibus Master) to field I/O (Beckhoff I/O). I was told by someone that i need to use DPRD-DAT command in program. However, in the TIA V13 software there is a network setup where i have setup my Beckhoff I/O. Which is correct and work the best?

You don't need sfc14/15. Just read and write to the i's and Q's. Just like your built in I/O
