Communication between Micrologix 1100 and Phoenix modem

Hi, i'm working on a project where I will have to make a comm. between a Micro1100 and a phoenix modem.

My question is : Am I on the good way if i try this comm with the instruction MSG .

You're going to have to be a lot more specific. Got some part numbers? A description of sketch of the devices involved?
