communication between Siemens S7-400 and ABB ACS 800 drives

hello to everyone,

please guide me how to communicate ABB ACS800 drives and siemens s7-400 drives via profibus , actually i m familiar about drive status word , control word and also siemens block for profibus node read/write (sfc 14/15).

but i dnt understand how to control drives with all these things.
i want step by step guide for communication, parameters exchange and controlling of the drive from siemens s7-400 plc, what modification done in ABB drive, etc.

please guide guys.

here where i am working there is abb acs 800 drives and i saw its parameter 98.07 is ABB DRIVES and also in plc there is a PPO5 TYPE means we can transfer 10 words IN/OUT. but my question is in siemens plc there is a data block (DB) and all pzd is defined, so how to write the structure of all there PZD , control word, status word to get exact information for using them in to logic of plc.

here drive and plc communication and in operation but i want to explore how ?

Write a function ( preferably FB as You can store those info with instance DB), wrap it around DP read / DP write as shown in manual, add control logic - and volia You've got Your ACS800 control block ready for testing.

Find the place that DB blocks is used using cross-reference then look what does the code that writes it.
