HI there, I need that an RTU (DF1 Master) polls some data from a Compat Logix PLC (DF1 Slave) serially. I don't seem to find an application note on how to configure the Compact Logix. I understand that in older PLCs the register of the N7 type were used. Any tips? thanks in advance

All ControlLogix family controllers can emulate PLC/SLC addressing for Boolean, Integer, and Real numbers.

There's a short description of the "Map PLC/SLC Addresses" feature in the Logix 5000 Design Considerations manual (Publication 1756-RM094) on page 98, and a good online reference attached to the Help button on that feature dialog box in RSLogix 5000.
