I have a siemens CPU 1214C PLC and a Siemens TP900 HMI connected via Ethernet.
The HMI is only for setting up - when I disconnect the HMI the PLC error LED blinks.
Is there anyway of stopping this from happening when the HMI is Disconnected?

If the HMI is only configured for HMI functionality, I've never run into that error before.

However, it is possible for the HMI to be set up as a Profinet Device, at which point the PLC would have an error if the HMI is missing.

What errors are listed in the diagnostic buffer of the PLC?
