DAServer SMC Errors

I'm getting errors in SMC as follows:

737700 12/11/2021 10:21:54 PM 2620 5640 DASProtFail DASMBTCP Unsupported function code 1 (Hex), in unsolicited message
737701 12/11/2021 10:21:54 PM 2620 5640 DASProtFail DASMBTCP Unsupported function code 3 (Hex), in unsolicited message
737702 12/11/2021 10:21:54 PM 2620 5640 DASProtFail DASMBTCP Unsupported function code 3 (Hex), in unsolicited message.

Someone from another forum told me that code 1 and code 3 refers to 5 & 6 digit modbus.

Then

I have tried to reload the InTouch application and do a DBLoaid of 2 tags only (IO Integer) 402140 and 402141. Still same problem as above:

Message "Unsupported function code 3 (Hex), in unsolicited message"

Change the 1 tag to 42140 than similar message "Unsupported function code 1 (Hex), in unsolicited message" appear.

I have configured the DAServer for TSX Premium.

Any further advice/help would be most welcome. Thanks

Try to use ModbusPLC in the DASMBTCP configuration instead. This will allow you to change the register size from 6 to 5. Then using 42140 may work.

Thanks for your contribution.

I have changed the config to ModbusPLC and the error message disappear.

However, I revert back to the config TSXPremium and no longer get the message.

I don't understand but no longer get these errors.
