Datalogic Matrix 220 Profinet

Hi All

I have a project where I need to scan some barcodes with this Matrix 220 sensor via profinet.

CPU 1517F-3, using TIA v17

I was looking for a test project, so I could get an idea of what data comes in where, I have been true all the documentation I could find, but is not getting a clear picture.

I tried contacting Datalogic, but I am not getting true ☹

Anyone work with this one before?

I haven’t fired it up yet, maybe installing the software and connecting to a sensor, will give some clarity of the datafile.

Are you fixed on that device from Datalogic ?
If the manual is not good and their support does not respond, I would reconsider using this brand.
Sick has a barcode scanner for Profinet, and they have a manual how to integrate it with STEP7 Classic:

It is not TIA, but it should be straightforward to convert the code to TIA.
