Dielectric strength of cable effecting profibus

Dear All,

I want to know, due to aging, temperature and humidity present in the room, the power cables got hard. This hardening does effect the dielectric strength of the insulator of cable?
In my case, power cable and profibus are in the same cable tray, so EMC is greater factor to be observed.
