Greetings,
To what level of Harmonics (THDI) and (THDV) is acceptable in a PLC panel with pressure and temperature transmitters.
We have a PLC controlled panel for Reverse osmosis plant with 46% THDI and 2.8% THDV
We have seen few boards on an allied panel for Ultra violet treating system system with blownout MOV's and capacitors..
1)Could Harmonics be blamed for this?
2)Do harmonics play with 4-20 ma Analog signals for PLC?
All ideas appreciated?
