Emerson DeltaV software

Hello!!

This is my first post, and actually my first day, in this forum. I decided to join it because each time I make a Google Search in a specific PLC topic, this forum is always within the results.

Right now, there is going to be a new project in the company I work for and it will use DeltaV (hardware and software). I would like to have a first approach with the software, since I am used to program with the RSLogix and Siemens editors, and I know DeltaV uses a completely different language.

Dows anyone knows where I can get information about the software? I have looked in the Emerson web page but I couldn't find anything useful. Or if someone knows where I can get a Demo Version of the software, I will appreciate it a lot.

I'd give one of the Emerson Reps a call, I'm sure they will send you a free demo disk. If not, let me know, I may have a older v4.2 demo at home.

Your old version will be fine. For a first approach, I think it's enough. Can you put it in the "Downloads" folder of the forum? It will be easier for me that way.

Where can i find or request a free demo disk ?
