Ethernet Step 7 communication problem

I am trying to access PLC 317 via Ethernet but not success so far... don't know what wrong m doing,
it shows connected but no ping.
please see the attachmentip address.jpg for both side settings.

in PG/PG I select TCP/IP (my Ethernet port is ok)

yes the ethernet port is not being used....but it has been provided a IP address and subnet mask....what else I should do to get connected....I need to upload the program via Ethernet...as i never did it so need to learn it also...will it not work un till not networked?...
