FTView Recipe+ question

Hello all. If I want to create a recipe in an excel spreadsheet on the network shared file), then download it to a PV+, does that require FTView SE or will FTView ME work also? Would someone who has done this be willing to share a project they have that has done what I am looking to possibly do? Thank you
