Help - Comparison of PLC rated SIL2 with a non-rated PLC

Hello,

How could I evaluate my application and see if
I need a PLC rated to SIL2 safety or not?
What I will gain from safety point of view from
a SIL 2 PLC compared to a non-rated PLC.
