How do you use the CH word in Omron PLC

im using cj1m cpu22, just wondering what is the CH for and how do you use it? I saw on the I/O table stuff like A-CH, H-CH, IO-CH, W-CH. but its not being used, how do you use it and whats it for? thanks.🤾
 
It is just a word type - channel. It is in the software mainly to support the older PLCs but can be useful. It is represented in HEX.
