Hi Forum,

I'm trying to find a solution to auto log out a user in FTView SE.

As I don't want to use the built in solutions as this logs out of the gfx I'm thinking logging in another user, like "default", could be a solution.

I want this to happen after 1 hour of idle time.

I tried looking at this thread:
http://www.plctalk.net/qanda/showthread.php?t=95319
But I wasn't able to get this to work.

I'm sure If I'm able to get a registration of idletime in the application, this could be possible.

Any suggestions?

We use an active x component (RSView32/SE Idle Detect Control), after a set time interval we have it set to run a macro.

The macro logs in a default user with no permissions.
