can anybody help me that "how to scale the analog values" in siemens S7 400.i hv read different programmes in which the programmer used the value 27648.why we use this value in the linear equation to scale the analog values.I have searched the web but i didnt get any useful material in scaling the analog values, if anybody knows the sites plz reply where i can find the manuals for scaling the analog values using s7 400.

...

0-20mA = 0-27648
4-20mA = 0-27648
0-10V = 0-27648

0-27648 is the range for analogue values, everything above that value until 32648 = overflow and not linear measurement

Why not use FC105 "SCALE CONVERT". It can be found in the standard library: "TI-S7 converting blocks".

When using FC105 you don't need to worry about the 27648 value. Just read the help file and you are on your way.
