Was having trouble w/ a schneider drive intermittently giving me a motor run on.
It would hang up on start.
It was driving me batty.
Increasing ACC only made it worse.
Increasing current limit didn't help. The drive would just run to the current limit.
Decreasing IR from the default of 100% to 75% seemed to do the trick.
Once I did that, the drive only went to 2amps on start instead of maxing out at 3 amps or more.
It seemed to do the trick.
I must have slept through motor theory in school.
I don't claim to know why.
Just posted this in case it helps anyone else.
Trolls commence. lol
