I have a GE relay module IC660BR101B mounted in a terminal base with the part number IC660TBR101A. My customer says that the TBR part number should end with the same suffix as the BR part number in order for the module to work.

What is the A (or B) represent. Is it just a series designation? So far, I have not been able to determine the suffix meaning.

thanks,

CTG

It is a version designation. I know that 'most' version B and above are compatable between bases and the modules, however there were problems with 'some' of the version A and previous units. I would try it, it should not cause any damage. Worst case is that it does not work, or you need to buy more parts.
