Good Day All,

I have a client who has an IDEC IPC500 PLC, but the battery in the PLC died, and the PLC lost it's program. We have a print out of the program, however we do not have the programming software (nor do we even know what programming software we need). As well, I don't really know what communications cable (or pinout) is needed for this particular PLC.

Does anyone have ANY information on this PLC (or know where I can find some). As well, what programming software is needed for this particular PLC?

EDIT: I was just informed that the PLC is an IDEC FA-1 PLC... if that helps.

Thanks again!

Thanks for your help. I was actually in the process of downloading the latest demo of WindLDR off of IDEC's website, but I'll download the demo you suggested as well.

Any idea on where I can the pinouts for the comms, or what type of comm cable is required?

Thanks again!
