import/export tag only

Hello friends,

I am having a little issue figuring out how to export one controller tag .its named 'ASCIIcharacters" Its a string datatype with sint[82] all fillled with ascii characters. Is there a correct way to move this to another program?

When I copy and paste it, I don't get any of the values in stored in the tag.
