Hi All,
I am looking for a temporary high speed 14 channel+ data gathering system.
There is a large hydraulic powered machine that raises and lowers a large mass failry slowly (~one cycle per minute). It recently suffered some mechanical failures and we suspect the hydraulics are to blame (bang bang valve for up down).
I'd like to sample the hydraulic pressure at 10 points, and the accelerations (?Vibrations?) at 4 locations on the machine. Probably need a sample every 10msec.
Does anyone have any suggestions to go down? Looking for a temporary high speed data gathering system.
I'm thinking of installing some ifm sensors and wiring them into a some type of thing. PLC seems a bit expensive. Maybe some Labview equipment?
Do I just go full into solution mode, and use an RMC from Delta Motion?
Maybe someone knows of a larger version of this:

Or should I go down the Lab View path?

Wireless sensors and between data log unit would be ideal!
Thanks for your opinions!
