Hello.

I've no trouble connecting to the Oracle with the SQLconnect but I cannot figure what is wrong with my SQLGrid properties. It only gives "Failed to connect to the database server"

I'm bit new to the whole SQLdatabase so perhaps there are some basics I'm forgetting. I'm using Oracle Express 10.2.0.1. Been used here for a while so using 'safe'n'old' version. OS is W7x64.

My SQLconnect string
"Provider=MSDAORA;
Data Source=####;
User ID=####;
Password=####;"

SQLGrid properties
Authentication_dg: SQLServer
ConfiguredDatabase_dg: XE
ConfiguredServer_dg: (Same as datasource)
ConfiguredUser_dg: (same as user ID)
ConfiguredPassword_dg: (same as PW)
ConfiguredDoamin_dg: (empty, since not windows auth)
InstanceName_dg: (table name in database, for ref)
SQLQuery_dg: (table name I want to connect to)
SQLQueryCurrent_dg: (empty)
