Looking for 480VAC version of this device

Looking at the specs for that motor I don't think you are going to fool it. It looks like it is a switched reluctance motor. That motor housing must contain a small, special purpose drive of its own. I'm not real sure what it would do with the sort of chopped up power you would give it from a drive.

Keep your objective in sight. A solid state solution (VFD or whatever) is not going to accomplish your objectives. It will only produce more heat from losses in the rectifier and transistors, and won't save you any significant space.

Entropy sucks, but you cannot engineer around it. Your best options are to either improve efficiency (redesign to a three phase blower) or move the heat source somewhere else by relocating the transformer.

eta: three phase industrial vacuum blowers are so common they are a commodity. The cost is likely to be competitive to the cost of the blower and transformer you are using.
