Moeller PS4-141-MM1 - LED Status

Hello!


I am somewhat familiar with the Moeller PS4 series. It was fun for it's day; however, I am seeing a series of LED lights I don't quite understand on a PS4-141-MM1.


1 (READY) Yellow
2 (RUN) Yellow
3 (NOT READY)Flashing Red
4 (BATTERY) Off


To me, it should either be Ready or not ready, not both... and not flashing red.


This screams hardware issue to me but I am not too sure. I've seen hardware issues show up on the LED status lights but never with a run and ready light at the same time.



This is a 'remote troubleshooting' situation for a friend of the family so I'm not able to get the unit in hand and I would hate to get them to remove it if it's a simpler solution than turning the switch to HALT, press the RESET button, switch to RUN or RUN M-RESET, press the RESET button.

Not sure about the Not Ready flashing but it sort of sounds like you lost your program. Was there a memory module that was taking out of the PLC?

When there is no program, it typically shows a steady red NOT READY light but yes, there is a memory module and I've already got them to copy it over. Still nothing.


I have that table but it doesn't show my situation at all.

I found something else and it doesn't sound good. Maybe have them check the 24V power to see if that is getting flakey.
