Hello I'm currently using a guard logix L7 processor, studio 5000 v34.
Our existing machine uses nest tracking for history of each part cycled. Typically with vision systems we have timestamping, but the new hardware we are integrating does not.

It only gives us a serial counter, sequence counter (2 sequences per part) for each part, job pass/fail, and other diagnostic signals

I'm trying to think of the best way possible to track the serial counter with the nest tracking for part pass or reject.

I think for each part it maybe best to just use a compare of the nest counter and serial counter and verify that upon the start of each processed part and the end, we verify the part count/results are not out of sync i.e. the part number has not incremented. But I also need a good method of tracking the results.. Any suggestions?
