Omnex T100 transmitter doing only 100 feet instead of 1200 ?

Hi,

I have recently bought a T100 transmitter and R100 receiver from Omnex Wireless

it is working properly for controling a Tyrex boom remotly, all fonction are doing ok , but it only works for a 100' feet, after that it stops the engine and everything ( safety feature ). It is supposed to do between 900 and 1200 feet factory

is it a defect in the product it self or a programming issue ?

and it is installed in a metal box on the Tyrex side

batteries on the transmitter are brand new
