I have an Omron CPM1A which has a 20 EDR I/O expansion Module already on it. I have now run out of I/O and would like to replace it with a 40 EDR I/O expansion module. Could anyone tell me if this is a straight swap or not.
Thanks

Welcome to the Forum!

From what I can see, it should be a straight swap.

Basically the 40EDR addressing is the same as two 20EDR.

Another possibility would be to just add another 20EDR.

Hope this will help.
